Like any computer technician, I love tools and utilities. I can spend weeks looking for and downloading tools I think I will need someday (kinda obsessive). Now and then when I have to do something specific, like repair a Windows component or speed up a Windows installation, I find that it’s cumbersome finding the perfect tool for the job. I download something that looks good and or it does not work the way the developer intended or it is not compatible with the version of Windows I’m using. Sometimes you even have to download several tools to achieve one result. With thousands of tools and utilities on my hard disk, I had to do something about this. So, Rizone’s Power Tools was born.
Basically, Rizone’s Power Tools is a tools and utilities suite, but before you think “not another one”. It’s not your typical set of tool set. It features an extensive set of tools and more will be added in each new release. At the end you will be able to do almost anything with Rizone’s Power Tools (Unfortunately, it won’t make you coffee in the morning, but we are working on it). With Rizone’s Power Tools, you can; launch important and hidden Windows tools and utilities, repair, optimize, backup important files and tweak the Windows OS (More will be added every so often).

Fantastic software. The included defrag program made my PC boot up MUCH faster after just a “Defragment and Fast Optimize” run. One of the best [free] defrag programs I’ve used.

Great compact windows tool!
a few suggestions though;
the quicklaunch pane is missing the mouse over descriptions and therefore I’m not entirely sure what i’m clicking on. (exept the obvious; cmd, taskman, calc, notepad, run)
can the format c: not be a prominent button??? I format drives as much as the next tech, but still think format is a right-click kinda option.
I also noticed that the old file and settings transfer wizard is included, but not any of the updated microsoft migration tools (ie windows easy transfer for win7)

I will try this on a USB drive first. I test freeware and will post results on my website in about 2 weeks or when I’m finished.
