Personally, I don’t really like Registry Cleaners, but made this one on a request. While developing this Registry Cleaner, I discovered something shocking. I picked up a little problem when running the cleaner on a 64Bit Windows version. The “64Bit Bug” was caused when the program redirected between the %ProgramFiles% variable and the [Program Files] location. It would detect a file to be missing from the [Program Files (x86)] when in fact it would be located in the ‘Program Files’ directory.

After doing some searching, I discovered that this “64Bit Bug” is present in most Registry Cleaners. So, here’s the warning; Do not run any Registry Cleaners on any 64Bit Windows version. I would give you the names of the offending Registry Cleaners, but by law, I can’t. Rizone Registry Cleaner is a basic Registry Cleaner for keeping your registry neat and tidy. Since all I discovered, I’m even more careful when running a Registry Cleaner, so always backup the Registry before making any changes and check, recheck and triple check a key before deleting it. To create a Regsitry backup in Registry Cleaner, click on ‘ERUN’ and the click ‘Registry Backup’.

The following rules list the most serious violations:

1. No Hacking – This should go without saying, but you are not permitted to hack the board. Guessing someone else’s password and succeeding counts as hacking. Members who hack will instantly be permanently banned without any warnings.
2. No Discrimination, – You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, or whether they are gay or straight. This is worse than flaming, because it also hurts other members of the board who fall into the catagory you insult. RCF is a place where everyone is equal, and discrimination will NOT be tolerated!
3. No Bullying – Do not pick on other members. The worst kind of bullying is where new members are picked on. This hurts the member as well as the board.
4. No Flaming – Flaming harms the nice atmosphere of RCF. It also causes thread’s to go off topic, and most importantly, it hurts the person being flamed. The victom may defend themselves against any accusations made to them, but may not make any additional accusations to the flamer (which also counts as flaming).
5. No Profanity or Obscene Content – Such content does not belong on RCF. A censor system is in place as a backup. If you see words in your post being replaced with ****, you have done something wrong. Please edit your post and tone it down before your timer runs out. ViruClean is part of a bigger project we are working on, called Inoculate Anti-Virus. ViruClean is a simple virus scanner / cleaner. In short, it looks for and cleans viruses, malware and other unwanted files from your computer. We decided to create another anti-virus, because we discovered that there is a need for a good portable anti-virus. Some false positives have been identified. Please make sure the file is a virus before you delete it. We will have all the false positives removed from the database on the first release. We’ve tested ViruClean with Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit together with Kaspersky Antivirus and by the looks of it, it works fine. We’ve also done some testing on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The 64Bit version of ViruClean is now included in the normal download. We’ve removed most of the false positives; don’t forget to let us know if you find more.

With this little tool, you can detect stuck or dead pixels and also repair stuck pixels. Many tools like this can be found all over the internet, but we could not find a tool with all the functions in one. So, we made one. Before we continue with what you can do with ‘Rizone Pixel Repair’, let’s start with what you can’t do (our ‘no bull’ policy). First of all, you can only attempt to repair stuck pixels and it won’t repair dead pixels. Secondly, it won’t work every time either. No miracles here boys and girls.

Now let’s get to the good part. You can use the ‘Dead pixel locator’ section on ‘Rizone Pixel Repair’ to look for dead or stuck pixels. You can also use this section to help you find dirty little spots and dust when you clean your screen (Because dust doesn’t show on all colours). Now, after you’ve located stuck pixels, try to repair them with this tool. Set the colour mode, press go and place the flashy window thingy under the stuck pixel. Sometimes this unsticks that pixel, but as stated before, not always.

Winsock, which stands for Windows Sockets API, defines how networking software should access network services. Many users come into contact with Winsock after experiencing connection problems that are usually related to Winsock. Before you think “Not another Memory Booster / Optimizer”, Rizone Memory Booster is not just another Memory Booster. And yes, I know all software companies claim that they have the solution to never upgrading memory again. First of all, most of these companies are not totally truthful, most of them rely on the placebo effect, this is, if you think it’s going to work, it will. Security Restore, as the name implies, will simply attempt to restore your computer to the default security settings. This is useful for when you get, ‘You don’t have permission to… blah, blah, blah’ errors, while installing programs or updating stuff. It will also attempt to repair the dreaded 0×80070005 error messages when trying to register dll files while installing certain Windows components or programs. Sometimes you will not get this specific error number, but just an Installation Failed message. Rizone CD-DVD Repair is a small utility that will repair Windows if your CD or DVD drive is missing or not recognized by Windows or other programs. Apart form the basic functionality it also allows resetting of Autorun settings and protection against Autorun parasites(virus).

The former lets you repair the Autoplay/Autorun settings if for some reason it fails to work, while the latter provides protection against Autorun virus by disabling the Autorun feature for removable drives.
